Multiple facets of supervision: Cooperative teachers’ views of supervision in early childhood teacher education practicums

The study focused on cooperative teachers' views supervision in Finnish early childhood teacher education practicums. A total of 111 teachers responded to surveys and 18 participated pair or group discussions. findings revealed that represent different professional generations are differently trained for supervising student teachers. promotes understanding the multiple facets by identifying six frames through which interpreted their supervisory tasks. both criticized programs showed a commitment facilitate teachers’ growth. • Supervision provided plays crucial role Teacher draw assumptions about generations.
